This document is about the two psyches that humans are comprised of and the ancient Germanic religion on which the cult of Odin is centred and characterized.
Odin had two special ravens, Hugin and Munin, whose names mean thought and memory respectively, two distinct non material psychological components that human beings possesses and Egyptians believed that both could survived to death. Similar allegories of soul division are found in creation myths around the globe, and that I will describe in the related document.
This identification of the soul and spirit as familiar psychological components shows the salvation taught by the ancients to be a psychological achievement, just as the ancient Gnostic described it. It’s origins are prehistoric, yet it uses the same model described by modern psychologists and neurologist.

The Runes are a series of ideograms with a high symbolic value of veneration and worship. These are inscriptions or engravings that today we can find in European territories with Germanic, Nordic and Iberian influence.
The Runes have their origin in the divine. It is said that it was Odhinn (Wotan, in German) who obtained them through a sacrifice (for nine days and nine nights), through which he obtained knowledge and wisdom from him. Although these symbols are related to occult methods, they have a close relationship with the symbolic, anthropological and psychological sphere.

Ancient Egyptians believed that each individual had two souls, a “ba” and a “ka”, which separated at the death unless steps were taken to prevent this division. In fact, many cultures held that one soul go into reincarnate while the other would become in a dreamlike netherworld. The Binary Soul Doctrine hypothesis offers an explanation for this afterlife phenomena.
